Early Childhood Instructional Program Evaluations
We conduct observations, interviews, document reviews, and data analysis to build a picture of your early childhood instructional program relative to your vision. Based on our extensive experience working with early childhood programs across the country, we benchmark your instructional results against a national bar for quality that is grounded in the science of learning and development. You receive a detailed report of findings and program causes of your results, as well as a proposed strategic direction for essential improvements. We can also support you in planning your strategy to address areas of need. If you have solid ECERS scores but wish to improve your CLASS scores, especially in the Instructional Support domain, our insights will propel you forward. We are based in Erie, Colorado, and available to travel nationally.
High-Quality Learning Experiences
We provide customized learning experiences for teachers, parents, and other staff using research-based practices in adult learning and motivation. Training topics where we have expertise include: early language and literacy development and instructional strategies, social-emotional development and support, the science of learning and development, foundations of ECE instructional programs for principals and administrators, adult learning theory and application, and teacher leadership. We will ensure that trainings are appropriate for your staff by having a discussion about what staff are struggling with and why before planning the training, and reviewing objectives with you before facilitation. We can deliver learning experiences in-person or virtually, for a one-time training or over a lengthier period of time. We are based in Erie, Colorado, and available to travel nationally.
Design Coaching
We leverage our expertise in adult learning to support your designers in creating or adjusting high-quality learning experiences for your school or nonprofit staff. We work with your instructional coordinators, deans, or other staff and coach them to apply adult learning methodology to increase the effectiveness of your learning experiences. Design coaching works best as an ongoing engagement, but is also available for short-term, targeted support for high-stakes learning experiences such as pre-service training or annual conferences. Design coaching is accomplished virtually, via phone or video call.
CLASS Observations
Our Teachstone CLASS Pre-K and K-3 Certified Raters can conduct CLASS observations and provide reports for your staff. We are based in Erie, Colorado, and available to travel nationally.
